How long will it take to settle my whiplash case?

 

A: We are often asked by our clients how long it will take for their whiplash injury case to be settled.  The time we will need to settle your case depends largely on how long it takes you to recover from your injuries and complete your medical treatment.  It is important that you recover fully from your injuries before settling your claim, because this will allow us to accurately value the damages you suffered and will ensure that you do not become responsible for paying for treatments and medical care that the defendant should be paying for.  Unfortuantely this does mean it is difficult for us to predict at the beginning of your case how long it will take to be resolved, because we cannot predict how long it will be before you recover fully.
