Host: Minnie we just heard a clip from the Premier now and he is indicating that he thinks that the class action lawsuit should be settled. What do you make of that?
Minnie Hoyles: I absolutely do believe, I believe that when you continuously drag this into the public and you’re keeping it up because every time you had to go to a court and surely Eastern Health is not thinking about bringing people that are sick down to a court house and having these people square off and try to defend their dignity. I think the Premier’s right there, I think he probably should give a call to Eastern Health and tell them that, to my mind, it’s a bit despicable that they still seem to be wanting to hold back and I think to help these sick people that they certainly do should get in behind these doors in the next few days. Have these people compensated for what’s happened to them. Money, like I said, is not going to do anything but it will allow a little bit of comfort for a lot of these people that are in their last days.

should be settled.
Is it not amazing how long Eastern Health held back when it came to admitting liability to us cancer and at what ever levelpatients, but I guess it is not surprising, considering all the cover up that went on before the Cameron Inquiry. Even now Eastern Health's
insurance HIROC is somehow dragging
it's heels regarding some form of compensation for certain members of the class action group. In my opinion this is despicable. It is time to face up fully to all the damage done to us cancer patients and at what ever level each patient is envolved by this tragedy give them so rightfully what they deserve.
